Could someone post a list of which players are under contract for next season please?
It's obvious that some change is required to the squad, and the composition of that squad. Thought it would be helpful for us all if we had a definite list. I'd expect some players to interest other clubs, while some players might choose to move on. We would offer extensions to others. Which ones would we keep?
It would give us a good starting point for discussion.

Stanway will be gone in summer but we’ll get a development fee for him at least.

I would keep coates as well Good player but lucky to see him play 15 full games, far too injury prone for me

Weeks, Peers, Burke and Caton contracted. That's what I thought also. Unless we get bids for Peers or Caton then we have to hope we have a rethink tactically, and they stay 100% fit because it's not worked out for them this season.

Unless we get bids for Peers or Caton then we have to hope we have a rethink tactically, and they stay 100% fit because it's not worked out for them this season. If Peers and Caton were to be our starting strikers next year, we'd have to get wingers to support them. Plus, start wrapping Caton in cotton wool now ready for the new season and tell Peers to start bulking up. Personally I like Burke at defensive mid over centre back (if he is actually still here next season, I'd be surprised if someone didn't come in for him), but he would need someone experienced behind him or next to him. Think Roberts but maybe someone taller and more physical. Weeks is obviously our main creative outlet, if Glendon and Whitehouse aren't retained, we have to setup the rest of the midfield to get the best out of him, i.e play him further up the pitch. As a cheaper squad player, I'd keep Norton. Has definitely become more confident and is becoming a useful and pacy option off the bench. If Thomas can stay fit all season, I'd definitely keep him too and play him to his strengths on the wing.

I would keep Murray too as at least he has a bit of fight in him Not a chance Nowhere near big enough or consistent enough to play for a side going for promotion.
Sign some expeirenced leaders and we might actually get somewhere.

Weeks, Peers, Burke and Caton contracted. Thanks for that. With only 4 players under contract that gives us a good opportunity to put a different type of squad together. People need to bear in mind just because a player is under contract doesn't he has to start. What we don't know with these players, and those out of contract, is how much each player affects the budget. If Player A is on twice as much as Player B, then they should be an important starter. I'm not convinced that's always been the case this season. As with any squad we'll need a range of players on varying wages. I'd be pleasantly surprised if Stanway and Williams re-sign. They would be worth being among the higher earners.

Stanway Williams Burke woodthorpe Weeks Grendon Murray Caton coates ( if can prove fitness)
Roberts but think he'll retire end of season
We are crying out for a 1 or 2 big defensive midfielders and 1 or 2 out and goal scoring forwards
We are not far away

Stanway Williams Coates Woodthorpe Roberts Thomas Murray Norton
Not expecting them all to accept.

Size doesn't matter ..... ask your mrs Love that you probably envisioned this as some sort of sick burn, but have ended up only saying this to yourself due to your inability to properly use the quote function.
