Great first half results for us so far with only Brackley leading and that’s against Chorley.

Some helpful results there if we’re looking to cement a place in the play offs.

Can't complain at tonight's results. If results had gone against us tonight we could have been tied points wise on 59 with 5 other teams, it’s a crazy league this season.

Darlington turned it right round. Fair play. Nailed on for relegation a couple of weeks ago, only 3 points from safety albeit goal difference is quite poor but a real chance of staying up now.

It seems as though Watson’s tenure at Darlo is panning out very similarly to how it panned out for him here - failing to bring about an immediate upturn in results, and in fact seeing things initially get even worse, before the pieces start to fall into place once he’s had enough time to work with the squad and bring his own players in. Hope they stay up for his sake, because he’s a good manager and a good bloke.
Speaking of changes in the dugout, York’s decision to appoint Adam Hinshelwood as their third manager of the season has so far failed to bear fruit, as a costly defeat at home to Fylde tonight has left them in serious danger of relegation back down to the NLN. Surely it’d be very much in our interests for them to stay up - one less potential promotion rival to worry about if we don’t go up this season, and a great away day if we do!

I was at Peterborough Sports this evening watching Hereford turn them over. Sports were poor but Hereford looked good. The new signing played really well down the right flank He looked really good & I can see why people were impressed when he debuted for us from Stockport.

The race to avoid relegation from the National League seems as madly wide open as the play-off battle in the NLN, with every side from Hartlepool in 10th to Kidderminster in 23rd still realistically involved in it. Oxford City are basically doomed, but beyond that it’s anyone’s guess who goes down with so few points in it between the rest of the bottom half.

Can't see Scunthorpe's manager lasting much longer. Wouldn't be surprised if Askey ends up there by the end of the season.
